Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to apply for the programme you must currently be:

A full-time student ( open to all years - 1st/2nd/3rd/4th )
18 years of age or over on commencement of programme
Hold a valid EU/EEA passport

Studying full-time at an English, Scottish, Welsh or Northern Irish University or Higher/Further Education college on one of the following courses:

Undergraduate degree
Master’s
PGCE
PhD
Nursing diploma
Foundation degree
HND

For students studying at a Scottish university:

The programme is only available to Scottish domiciled students or students holding a valid EU/EEA passport. Scottish domiciled students must hold a valid SAAS notice (Student Awards Agency for Scotland).

You are not eligible for the programme if you:

Are an English, Welsh or Northern Irish student studying at a Scottish university or Higher/Further Education college
Are a part-time student
Have previously participated in the Study China Programme
Are an international student who pays overseas fees to study in the UK
Are an EU/EEA student on an Erasmus semester/year in the UK in 2015
